The PBS-03JN obstacle detection sensor is specifically used for scanning the traveling path of AMHS (Automated Material Handling Systems) such as AGCs, AGVs, RGVs and OHTs as a means of protecting equipment from impact. This LED-based scanner offers a compact size, 180º scanning field and simple interfacing via an RS-232 connection to a PC for programming the detection area outputs.
