The UXM-30LN-PW is an outdoor-rated obstacle detection sensor used for area monitoring and presence detection applications. Equipped with a USB interface, it can obtain measurement data in a 190° field-of-view and allow for three configurable area outputs up 30 meters. With an ON/OFF delay feature, it can ignore objects that move abruptly through the zones (for example in outdoor use: leaves blowing, heavy dust or debris) thus preventing a false output. Sensitivity adjustments can be made via the software to create a close-range dead zone that helps filter out rain, snow or other elements that are in close proximity to the lens.
