Etic Telecom markets a range of tactical SHDSL switches allowing the IP interconnection of a fleet of equipment linked together by D10 cable.
The box version (XSMIL-BP4200IB) is installed in vehicles while the case version (XSMIL-FD4200) is installed in the field in order to allow long distance connections by repeating the signal.
Tested with standards: MIL-STD 810 and MIL-STD 461
The range of XSMIL Ethernet Extenders (Switch SHDSL and Switch-Repeater SHDSL) allows the simple and safe interconnection of a fleet of tactical equipment without using radio communication means.
Thanks to the SHDSL connectivity of XSMILs, a tactical IP network can be extended over long distances using a conventional field cable (D10 cable for example).
All equipment interconnected by a product from the XSMIL familiy is in the same LAN network.

- Distant vehicle in the outpost (SHDSL case repeating the signal) => the case is autonomous (internal battery) or powered by the D10 transmission cable
- Portable Command Post allowing the soldier to communicate via phone, tablet or PC
- Connection of fleet of vehicles to the camp
- Network looping allowing communication to be maintained even when the cable is cut
